Our journey to the Mediterranean took us to places where fish arrive fresh from the sea each morning to meet recipes as ancient as the seaside villages they come from.
Traditions run deep here, and the more we explored it was surprising to discover that some of our favorite catches weren't fish at all.
We discovered rich, briny Kalamata Olives that come together with spinach, feta cheese and Spanish olive oils to create classic flavors that showcase why this region is one of our favorites.
A glass of the local wines always completed the experience.
